Dear -----: Greetings, I checked your site and the promotional material listed, your proposal is something I might be interested in. I will need some more details about your proposal and the project. I have to mention a few things: most importantly, I am a member of Socan/BMI which means all my material is tracked… by Gemma in Europe, B.M.I..... in NA, SOCAN for the rest of the world. Having one of my songs on your compilation will end up costing you some publishing. There is no way around this.. as a registered member everyone of my published songs is tracked, so you may want to check into that on your end.

We have 2 other acts from Germany who i [sic]belive [sic]our also members of the[sic]oranisations above.............but i should have also mentioned this will be a legal free to download compilation to be released via our site and other associated networks the whole point of the compilation is publicity and promoting all artists to an [sic]addtional audience to the one they already have

I like the idea but want to know what flavor the comp is? EBM industrial etc.. what kind of material are you looking for and what is your target audience, let me know …

Also, I think that this is a labor of love for you and a great way to support the scene... meaning there is no licensing fee, correct?

I am okay with that but as a trade of favors I would ask that you help us with our EU tour in September, promoters that you know, venues, some press, promotion for the tour etc...

Thanks for getting back so quickly with the info on your compilation I will run it by our manager, but I am pretty sure without the agreement for tour support he will say no. He is pretty strict about where we license the music and when it comes to freebies he is a Nazi about mutual consideration on the back end. There is nothing I can do about that, in these matters he has the last word because he does all the paperwork and makes all the deals. His name is H. Greenfish and he will probably contact you in the next week or so either way. No matter what the outcome we wish you the best of luck in all your future




Hi Js, >> ................we are recording artists ourselves with well known releases so with due respect to yourself we have no time to deal with external managers at this point.........we only deal with artists themselves as we all have management too :)) but [sic]don,nt need them to make our minds up ............also we have no time to deal with other artists gigs /live shows but our own :)).....thanks......................also very busy with lots of right now...........so if you [sic]ca,nt say yes at this time we will have to select another artist as we [sic]our not short of them :)).......... and likewise all the best with your projects
